The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Ragtime The Musical is one of my all-time favorite CDs and it is not difficult to see why. It features a cast headed by Brian Stokes Mitchell, Marin Mazzie and Audra McDonald and combines one of the most beautiful and powerful scores in musical theatre along with fantastic orchestrations. It just doesn't get much better than this.
